"My daughter and I enjoyed a wonderful and sweet experience in the Catskills together with Monica and her team. My daughter (4) loved playing in the snow for the first time, the childcare programming, and meeting kids from around the country. The location was beautiful, quiet, and serene and a wonderful place to retreat for a few days. The other mothers were great and it really felt like sharing some time with your “village.” The food was healthy and great and pacing of the program was well done. Can’t wait to attend another one!"

Mom-Child Winter Retreat | Hudson Valley, NY | February 12-15, 2027Join Wanderwild winter of 2027 as we slow down and take a pause. Our winter retreat program honors the art of slow living and wintering in. As we rest and replenish, you’ll be immersed in activities meant to create space and look inward.
What’s included? Retreat activity program and lodging booked for 1 adult and up to 3 children including earth-to-table meals three times daily, fusion yoga, pilates, mother and child yoga, forest school inspired childcare, goat therapy, stargazing and bespoke workshops, sacred circles & ceremonies, forest bathing, and welcome gift.
What’s not included? Flight and travel expenses.
How old should my child be? Children ages 0 - 12 years old are welcome to attend. Our smallest guest was just 6 weeks old, and our oldest was 13 years old. If you have specific questions about your child’s age, you are welcome to email us.
